These are questions asked from various people that I will answer in this journal. If you have questions you want me to answer, answer them here. If you have questions about the answers aready written here, feel free to ask them, too. I would love to clear up anything or be noted of any mistakes.
1. Brief history of Tsutomu until now?
Tsutomu was an only child born from Atsushi and Midori Fujisawa. Midori was a kind and timid mother who was content with her views and opinions on things. She had a shy exterior, but she was confident and wise, and didn't need to assert herself to get her feelings across. Atsushi was different however. Much like Tsutomu is today, Atsushi did not know how to quit or when to stop. He always tried to assert himself and form his own ideas. Despite how failed his attempts were, he was really into it, as he thought it was his duty as the man of the house. His goal to be a courageous, assertive man had led his family to a bit of trouble sometimes.
As Tsutomu grew, his father was always out of the house for work. Tsutomu was with his mother more than his father, so he gained his political views, beliefs, and some of his personality from her. Whenever his father was home and Tsutomu wasn't asleep to see him, his father would try to spend as much time with him as possible. Most of the time he would teach Tsutomu how to play an old guitar he owned. It was those small guitar lessens that had led Tsutomu to discovering a talent he had. More on his talent later on.
When Tsutomu turned eight, things started to get hectic in his life. Economy was during a recession, and for complicated reasons, Tsutomu's family was going through a downfall. His parents started arguing more often, Tsutomu's father was more outside than he was at home, and Tsutomu barely ever saw him. He was always with his mother and she grew very dear to him. He tried to help so many times, but as a child he could do nothing. This went on for two grueling years.
When Tsutomu turned ten, Midori and Atsushi had a very big argument about financial stress and other issues he couldn't udnerstand. In the middle of the argument, Atsushi shouted "Enough! I can't take it anymore!" Went to his room, filled a suitcase, and went out the door. Midori just stood there and watched in awe and horror while Tsutomu shouted "Where is papa going? Papa! Papa!" and so forth. that was the last time he ever saw him. After a few weeks of no sign of Atsushi, Midori considered herself divorced and filed some papers. Tsutomu afterwards ended up hating his father.
Life was very difficult after that day. Since there was no father of the family, Midori had to get a job. Tsutomu was taught how to clean and cook a bit by his mother, so he took care of the housework while Midori searched for jobs. They lived in a small house that had an affordable pay, but they couldn't afford many luxuries. Tsutomu had to go to a small middle school that he felt uncomfortable in going in. It was owned by a small yakuza gang. He never really got into trouble with the yakuza during his years there, but he did see one up close on his way to school. He was discussing debts with one of the teachers.
Later on in high school, he became a bookworm. His mother had many views for Tsutomu's future, including becoming an office managaer and finding a wife. Tsutomu wanted to make his mother happy by aspiring to become CEO of a company one day. Unfortunately, her other dream of him finding a good wife was unable to be acheived, since he discovered he was gay. To this day he is kind of secret about it, because he would feel devastated for his mother if she ever found out. During his high school years he had befriended two girls who were his seniors: Junko, a girl with sadistic tendencies, and Yuriko, a girl who aspired to become a teacher. He didn't make a lot of friends, for his timid nature was unimpressive by a lot.
After graduation, he took a college entrance exam right away due to zealousness. He didn't study and ended up failing. Ever since then, he's been hitting the books and taking cram school to make sure he knows everything. He's doing that to this day. His mother lives in the old apartment by herself now, and Tsutomu, with two jobs, uses one of his paychecks to help pay his mother's debts. His other paychek goes to his own apartment in which he lives now.
2. Boxers or briefs?
Tsutomu wears boxers. He feels comfortable in them.
3. What does Tsutomu want to accomplish in his lifetime?
As a little kid, Tsutomu wanted to be a musician actually. His father was his role model and they would play guitar everytime Tsutomu was able to see him. After his father had left, Tsutomu wanted to forget about the guitar forever.
Since then, due to their modest living conditions, Tsutomu wanted to make his mother proud by fufilling her wish for him to become a hard working businessman with a good pay. Tsutomu turned it up a notch and aspires to become the CEO of a company, hopefully for pet products, since he loves animals.
But first, he wants to get into a good college.
4. So...can you give me a bit more detail on this guitar thing?
As mentioned above: As a child, Tsutomu's father would teach him how to play on his old guitar that he had from when he was in a middle school band with his friends. It was an old acoustic guitar, but Tsutomu cherished it. As he practiced, his parents have started noticing that he was a fast learner. Not just with the guitar, but anything that acquired him using his hands. Whether is was massaging, or writing caligraphy.
Back the to the guitar. As his father taught him, he would tell him stories of how he and his bandmates wanted to become a major band one day. All of these stories amazed Tsutomu. He developed an interest of becoming a musician on his own. Everyday when his father told him stories, he would say "Papa, I'll be a guitar player on one day!" Which was followed by a chuckle from his father, who said he'll live long enough to hear him play.
Ever since his father had left him that fateful night, Tsutomu was broken. His father was the reason why he aspired to become a musician. But with daddy now out of the picture, Tsutomu grew a hatred for that guitar. Heartbroken, he put that guitar deep in his closet, hoping to forget it. However, every time he's cleaning his closet, he always sees that guitar. Sometimes, he takes it out to play it. But if the flashbacks from doing so were too much, he'd put it away again. To this day, he still has that guitar in his closet, and he can never find the will to throw it out.
